Entering the World of Blogging

Given that most of my family blogs, and even somewhat of an extended family tradition I thought I might try my hand at this whole blogging thing.  I planned on getting one anyway before I headed away in the Fall to do an international nursing placement, hopefully in Tanzania.  While I am a big fan of the phrase "better late then never," I do however have a bit of extra time on my hands currently with the semester wrapping up and thought I might try starting something early for once.
The title is inspired by a quotation by Yose ben Yoezer; "Let your houses be meeting places for Rabbis, and cover yourself in the dust of their feet, and drink in their words thirstily."  I hope that as I adventure through life I will be able to cover myself in the dust of my Rabbi's feet.
I know that I am not a great writer, or really that exciting but i hope that I can entertain at least a few individuals with my musings.  Enjoy!

That's worth at least ten points.
Also....I love the title of the blog, and the quotation that it came from. Looking forward to more posts.
